Tecnitoys
In 1997, Tecnitoys/Scalextric®/SCX® was established with the main objective of strengthening the well know brand SCX® in Spain, offering its highly innovative technology and its dedication and focus to consumers desires. The combination of a powerful brand like SCX and the constant investment in R&D has made it possible to reach 75% of the market share in the slot racing system category in Spain. One of the major assets of the company is the creation of an internal R&D department of professional experts coming from different backgrounds (engineers, designers, marketing consultants) backed up by major universities specialized in the NPD field.

Active Development offered the 'innovation scout' in order to detect new business opportunities. By selecting one specific project, Active Development was responsible for coordinating the product innovation, based on immersing the end user into a new experience. We empower the project in a turn-key basis: we detected the idea, analyzed the opportunity, created the first operative prototype, developed the marketing plan for launching the product to the market.
